About us

aelēc is the Spanish association of energy companies that comprises the largest electricity utilities involved in the whole electricity activities. aelēc focuses its activity on the dissemination and promotion of the electricity and is specially active in the technical and regulatory aspects of the electricity activities.

We are fully committed to become a key player in the energy transition in Spain with the aim of achieving a carbon-neutral economy and society in 2050. In order to allow the decarbonization process, it is essential the fostering of new electrical uses in the energy-intensive sectors such as transport, industry and building.

The Association aims to promote its associated companies’ activity whose experience and know how explains the high quality of Spanish electric supply.
